Glass Tile

How ironic I come across this site as we are about to commence remodeling work on my grandmothers estate. One of the things that really needs doing is the bathroom, especially we are planning to put in a new floor. Currently, there is vinyl tile down, which my mother has always hated. When i showed her this elegant glass bathroom tile her eyes lit up, so I knew instinctively that she agreed with the quality of the materials. My mom is quite picky, so her approval says alot about the level of craftsmanship.

Theres a few styles I like. I like the little 1 by 1 inch glass tiles called “copper glass”. These are just outstanding, and I cant put into words how great they will look in grandmas’ bathroom. It will totally change the entire room, and the tile underside is panted, so its not a big fear that they will get scuffed and lose their vibrant color.

The other style I find exciting is called “white pebble natural” and is HAND CRAFTED and looks like a layer of white pebbles. It is sold by the sheet, and since its hand crafted only 10 sheets are a made a day. Each sheet is 12 inches square and is far cheaper by far than any listing I have seen previous.

Prosecutor Sides with Convict

A prosecutor for the state of Alabama was rebuked by the state attorney general for testifying in support of a successful  appeal of a death sentence for a convicted murderer.

Robert Owen, the D.A. in the LaSamuel Gamble case, testified it would be worng to put Gamble to death, when his co-defendant, who actually committed the murder would not be executed. His co-defendant, Marcus Presley, had been sentenced to death also, but had the ruling overturned because he was a minor at the time.

A judge had commuted Gambles punishment to life imprisonment but the attorney general is seeking to get Gamble executed.

Owens says hes had some difficulty with this, hes been a prosecutor for his whole career, but said he couldnt sleep if he let someone die who didnt kill anyone, while he let a murderer live.
