Some kids have trouble learning in the class room, maybe because they are distracted, but more likely because the way they learn is not implemented by the teacher. Each teacher has their own style, and every child has their own way to learn. Most teachers get most children, but some slip through, and some just need that extra time. Thats when you might consider tutoring. Tutoring gives your child that needed one on one learning with a person well versed in a given subject, and able to teach in any style allowing your youngster to learn in the fashion he or she is most comfortable in.

So if your son was having some trouble in math, looking at providers for Math Tutors would be the thing to do.

The Philippines Supreme Court who fired a judge for claiming he had elves who assisted him, has asked that judge to stop with the threats of “ungodly reprisal”.

Judge Florentino Floro Jr. was removed fromt he bench mostly because he believed in the supernatural. A clinic has diagnosed him with psychosis.

Floro is fighting to get his job back, he has been on television, and converts people who believe in his healing powers. Meanwhile, a string of tragic happening are occuring for the supreme court justices and their families… Things like serious illnesses and terrible car accidents.

Floro claims the one to blame is one of the elves, “Luis” a “king of kings” who is quite vengeful. Floro has said that the elves help him predict he future, but has never consulted with the elves on judicial matters.

The Supreme court has not reversed any of Floro’s decisions.

Self Esteem

Filed under:Other — posted by Tom on @ 9:52 pm

Todays teenagers may have more stress, and self esteem issues than they did in generations past, or maybe we are simply more aware of it. Stress can come from any source, with varying intensity. Things that are handled easily by some kids may induce feelings of panic or feelings of low self worth in others.

Some causes of stress and anxiety are things like taking tests. Other teens are affected vastly by relationships. These relationships can be with peers, the opposite sex, or teachers and coaches. “Fitting in” can be difficult. Popularity is a contributing factor to this, and some teens feel that they are not worth any of this. Grades can generate feelings of failure which in turn will fuel low self esteem.

As adults, its our duty to not let teenagers suffer through this. We must be aware of the things causing them stress, anxiety and low self esteem. Show them how to identify it, and then work to solve the issues and over come the negative effects. Stress can get so severe that it causes physical problems. Together improving teen self esteem is a reality.
