Paid to Blog!

The sites that pay you to blog tend to come and go, and a potion do not appear to be growing – and then others suddenly crawl out of their shell and explode forward in a surge.

One of the lesser known sites has been accepting bloggers for a few months, however, it has been generating very little in the way of offers to its blogging population. During the majority of its existence it had just four jobs or so to select from; which isn’t much if you are a serious and committed blogger seeking some spare money.
As time went on, one of the folks at Smorty has got some good contracts, and now the blogging work requests are coming often and quick. So much so, that many bloggers will not be able to keep up with good ol’ Smorty. Even so, this is a good situation for bloggers. Whats even better is that you wont have to keep logging into to Smorty only to find out there is nothing new, now when you log you see new opportunities for you.And if you are a busy person like me you will be happy because Smorty is sending emails to their bloggers and informing them when a new opportunity has popped up. Thats a service I have yet to see anywhere else.

What I also find interesting is some of the companies I have posted for. They have some great products I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. It is an interesting idea to advertise on blogs and with the blog phenomenon at its peak, this is good for all parties.

Bell Released on Bond

Filed under:Controversial — posted by Tom on @ 5:08 pm

A doctor who had never met Mychael Bell posted his bond to get him out of jail. Bell is just 17 years old. Bell’s lawyer says a few other had offered to pay the bail as well. Bell returned home to Jena, La.

So now because a strnger paid his bail he was able to return home for the first time in over 10 months. He is a defendant, along with 5 others in a brutal attack on a white child.

The person who paid his bail was a 42 year old doctor named Stephen Ayers. Dr Ayers paid 10% of the 45,000 dollar bond. The doctor, also black, says he is nt motivated by race, but only in the interest of fair play.

Dr. Ayers thinks the District Attorney is too harsh, and that its overkill.

The case is quite controversial, and seen as symbolic of the “racist justice system” and has generated civil rights protest and of course the “white backlash”.

Blankets

I found the perfect gift for my sister, she is a photo fanatic. Basically, these folks take a photo and reproduce it on your Bedding.
The process is simple, you just take a digital photo you like and upload to their site, then you will want to choose a product and layout for your photographic item.
I think the very idea is a cool one, but their implementation of it is extraordinary. Many happy people have written testimonials for this site, and the folks who operate it.

It is important to note that this process is not silk screening, but it is a process where the threads are acutally dyed in the pattern of your photo, they will not fade and the fabric does not feel any different.

There is not a greater personalized gift anywhere. We all use blankets, and who wouldn’t want one with a fantastic photo as a part of that? I can not wait to get some of these done for my family members, and with Christmas coming what could be better! It is cold, and my mother for one is always looking to crawl under a blanket!

So now you have a great gift idea to use and share with your loved ones.
