Lyndsay Lohan was released after a whopping 84 minutes in jail. She was sentenced in august to 1 day in jail for drunk driving. Lohan reported to jail, was finger printed, processed, changed into a prison uniform, and then placed in a cell for 84 minutes before she was released.

Her release was due to a program which allows for early inmate release due to over crowding. Spokesmen for the county jail told the media that 30-50 women are released early every day due to over crowding.
