Celebrities Under Fire

Can we get some real news please? I don’t care about Wesley Snipes going to jail. I don’t care about Britney Spears or her equally trashy pregnant teen sister. I don’t care who’s mom died, who is having a baby, who’s show is canceled. I would like to know what is going on in the world. No one seems to care about that any more though, they are all wrapped up in what the celebrities are doing. It makes me ill.

I was looking into a surety bond and I found this great blog. I just got finished reading a really informative post about Performance Bonds for Construction. It provided a lot of information about how performance bonds supply the construction industry with the funds they need to give quality service to their customers.

Reverend Al Sharpton is under federal investigation. They are looking into his finances to see whether or not he is evading taxes. The federal government feels like he is living beyond the means of what he should be making as a reverend. Al Sharpton feels that he is being discriminated against because of his advocacy against hate crimes and his involvement in the Jena Six protests.

I was just reading a story about a little girl in Australia who was removed from an Aboriginal village after being sexually assaulted by some older children. She was returned to the village 4 years later only to be gang raped several teenagers and one adult. According to the Australian press sexual assault runs rampant in the aboriginal territories due to problems controlling alcoholism and drug usage.

Colorado Shooter Shot Himself

Filed under:News — posted by Tom on @ 8:08 pm

The official report on the Colorado gunman who killed at least 4 people before turning the gun on himself states that the mans death was caused by a self inflicted gunshot. Normally I would say good riddance in a situation like this, but what this person did deserves a punishment worse than death. He should have to spend the rest of his life knowing that he took the lives of others. I am sad for the families of his victims because they didn’t get to see justice.

Customer Service Woes

Bad customer service can really ruin your day. It’s best to not let it get to you but when you have a product that you pay for that never works its nearly impossible to stop it from getting under your skin. Sedona has an excellent article about how to deal with your emotions after dealing with bad service reps. The first thing to remember is that it isn’t always that persons fault. A lot of times representatives are limited to the amount of assistance they can provide for you due to company regulations or management. Don’t be afraid to ask for someone who can assist you.

Dubya Strikes again

Granted it was an honest mistake but today anyone who dialed the 800 number that that he gave out on television was connected with the Freedom Christian Academy,  which is a Christian Education home schooling program which is based out of Texas. The White House press corrected it moments after, but the damage is still done. The correct number is 1-888-995- HOPE.

Leather

Its really hard to find good leather gear. Most places are really expensive but not well made. The first time it rains your jacket is ruined. Well now you can get great leather goods at great prices and these pieces are built to last. Just take a look at this naked leather motorcycle jacket, and you will see exactly what i mean. I’ve seen jackets at discount clothing stores for twice that much. These are a great deal and I really like the look. If you or a loved one is into leather as much as I am then thebazaaronline.com is a great place for you to shop!
