Albany Man Awarded 3,850,000

The man, was riding a motorcycle. He was in the village of Waterford. There was just one car in front of him at the stop light. When out of nowhere a very large truck comes at him from the opposite lane, hitting him, and driving him into a SUV.

The victim loss part of his foot in the accident, a chunk of his foot was actually found on site. He recieved many fractures from the hip all the way down.

The man was rushed to AMC. In a very short time he when in surgery. Surgeons worked very hard to repair the victim, and in due course, his foot was amputated. No dice. Less than 2 weeks later he had yet another operation, this time to amputate his leg, just under the knee. He spent a total of a month and a half in the hospital.

The jury gave a unanimous verdict, and found the defendant responsible.
