1999 murder conviction in doubt

Tim Masters was convicted of the murder of Peggy Hattrick in 1999 after a 12 year investigation in which the defense claims that that investigation wasn’t so much an investigation to see who actually committed the murder but an investigation solely to build a case against Mr Masters.  The defense claims that prosecuting attorneys with held evidence that would have referenced Mr Masters Character, and by doing so it made him look suspect when he shouldn’t have been.

A hearing to review the charges started in September and is still ongoing at this time. The prosecution and the local Police stand by their conclusion that Tim Masters  is in fact a murderer.
