Beaten With a Pickle!
I was going to write about my very wonderful and much needed vacation, but when I saw this in the news this morning I just had to share it.
In Michigan a man named Bobby Lee Bolen was visiting his friend at the time Jody Lee, and decided to help himself to some of Mr. Lee’s pickles. Mr. Lee was rather upset (and must really like pickles) and it escalated to the point where Mr. Bolen threw Mr. Lee down and “assaulted” him with two large pickles. The fight dragged on until Mr. Bolen attacked Mr. Lee with a telephone as he tried to call 911 for help.
Mr. Bolen was charged with disrupting phone lines, and sentenced to 54 days in jail, and probation.
Can you believe it? I wonder what drives people to do such ridiculous things.
