San Diego Stadium

The stadium in San Diego has been converted into emergency housing for the many people that have been evacuated fromt heir homes because of the raging fire tearing through southern California.

12,000 people overnighted in the stadium which contains 96 restrooms, and more people were  believed to be en route. Outside half of the parking lot was full of people and vehicle, many were pitching tents beside their track or car.

FEMA in an act of foresight sent 25,000 cots to the stadium.

Tony Bradley, a magician worked to take the youngsters minds off of the situation, and many children were enthralled by him, while still others sat staring at news reports of what was going on.
